Description

The Fukuoka International Community School (a division of Fukuoka International School) is looking for part-time English teachers for the April 2017-March 2018 school year.

Responsibilities:
teaching English to students from age 3-16
maintaining routine paperwork and planning
attending school event and professional development days

Working Conditions:
Wage: ¥3500~ ¥4500 / hour
Teaching Hours (1): 10-15 hours, over 4-5 days per week
Teaching Hours (2): Monday-Friday 16:30-21:00 & Saturdays 10:00-13:30
Transport: up to ¥1500/day
Contract: renewable part-time 1-year contract (April 2017-March 2018)

Ideal Candidates will:
be a native speaker of English
have 3-5 years teaching experience with children
have some experience teaching adults
be able to work within a set curriculum in a team environment
be familiar with inquiry-based learning and 21st century skills
preferably have TEFL or CELTA certificate

Other:
successful candidates will be required to provide references from a supervisor
VIsa sponsorship may be available
