Saturday class is one of the most rewarding classes we offer simply because it is an immersion type class in which teachers are with children all day long. It is very common to build strong teacher-student bonds after just a few meetings. A typical day at Saturday class involves having an English language segment, lunch and outside play, and lastly a theme based lesson for the given month. Both foreign and Japanese teachers will plan semester, monthly, and weekly schedules to make a solid lesson plan. Although each class will have a Japanese pair teacher, the foreign teacher assumes main teacher role in the class.

Position/duties: Teaching English in the Saturday immersion class, developing curricula and educational materials, attending meetings, writing class-reports, and participating in cultural events or inter-cultural exchange program.

Special skills/requirements: Native English speakers from Europe, America, Australia, N.Z, or South Africa. MOTHER TONGUE SHOULD BE ENGLISH. Interests in working with children. Ability to work independently with cooperation with staff. Class-organizing skill. Good singing voice. Outgoing and friendly personality.

Hours and days: Follow the school calendar

Salary: excluding the travel allowance
1) Saturday Class: 12,000 yen per day (9:00-15:00) + Meeting 1-2 hrs.(until 17:00)
3) Meeting: 1,000 yen/hour

University degree(s) REQUIRED: BA, Education is preferred

Subject/specialization : TESOL or teaching certificate is required.
Experience required: Teaching experience to young children (kinder, elementary school children) is required. Good singing voice is preferred.
