Nagoya YMCA: English Teacher for Children（到期)

We are currently looking for experienced, energetic part-time English language teachers for the Winter Intensive program and the Spring Intensive program.

Location:
Nagoya YMCA (Ikeshita): 1-2-7, Haruoka, Chikusa-ku, Nagoya
Nanzan Family YMCA: 14 Minamiyama-cho, Shouwa-ku, Nagoya
Kamisawa Family YMCA: 2-831, Kamisawa, Midori-ku, Nagoya

Contract term:
①December 25 - December 29 (5 days) Ikeshita, Nanzan
②December 25 - December 28 (4 days) Kamisawa
③March 19 - March 22 (4 days) Ikeshita, Nanzan
④March 25 - March 29 (5 days) Ikeshita, Nanzan, Kamisawa
⑤April 1 - April 5 (5 days) Ikeshita

Class Hours:
9:30-16:00

Classes:
Kindergarten age, elementary school age

Payment:
15,000 yen - 17,200 yen per lesson + public transportation coverage (Maximum 1,500 yen per day)

＊Teachers are required to arrive early enough to prepare for the class and stay for extra 10-15 minutes to interact with parents and tidy up the classroom.
＊The maximum number of students per class is 12. (Please NOTE that classes may be cancelled if the minimum number of student application is not reached.)


Responsibilities include the followings:

・Develop and conduct engaging, enjoyable, and educational English language lessons based on our teaching curriculum and additional instruction to help nurture the potential of your students through the language education (Teaching contents may include phonics, grammar, listening, reading, speaking, theme study, crafts, art, and P.E.)

・Ensure the English only policy is followed all the time

・Set up your classroom before your students arrive and tidy up the classroom after class

・Ensure safety of our students during the class, activities, and break time through adequate supervision

・Explain your class contents briefly to the parents after every class with support from YMCA staff
