Native English Teacher（期限切れ）

Smiley English School is now looking for a part time Native English teacher from April.

Visa sponsorship is not being offered to new hires, therefore we need someone who has valid work visa for at least a year or longer.

All the applicants must submit the CV first. The shortlisted applicants will be offered an in-person interview. (must reside in Japan) No need for Japanese language skills.

Working Location: 1 minute-walk from Naruse Station (Tokyo) on JR Yokohama Line next to Machida and Nagatsuta (Kanagawa).

Working days and hours:

- Thursday and Friday afternoon: 15:00/16:00 until 20:00/21:00
- Saturday morning: 9:00 until 12:30

Applicants with the following attributes will be given top consideration:

- Native English Speaker with professional mind
- Genuinely like to talk to all aged people considering their development in English ability
- Has working experience with kids
- Has 4-year degree accredited university
- Has a lot of interests in English language education in Japan
- Has positive thinking, flexible and creative mind

Job description:

- Teaching from elementary to college students, business people, and elderly positive students.
- Teaching for 50 minutes per class, and additional 10 minutes is for paperwork and the preparation for the next lesson
- Class types are 'private' (1 to 1), 'semi-private' (1 to 2), and 'group' (1 to 5)

Hourly Rate:

First 3 months is the training period. During this period the hourly rate (50 min.+10 min.) will be 1,700yen. If the applicant is successful after 3 months of the training, the hourly rate will automatically increase up to 2,000 yen. The rate of 2,000 yen is fixed.

Transportation fee: We pay up to 700 yen a day

Holidays (school scheduled)

Golden Week in spring (1 week)
Obon holiday in summer (1 week)
Xmas and New Year (about 2 weeks)
