Description:
The Osaka YMCA International High School (IHS) is looking for experienced native English teachers to fill weekday part-time teaching positions starting in October 2019.

The school is located 20 minutes by foot from JR Umeda and Osaka stations and 5 minutes by foot from Higobashi station, Osaka Metro Yostubashi Line.

We are seeking responsible and reliable educators who want to develop strong bonds with high school students. Experience working with teenagers, while not essential, is desired. One year contract, with the possibility of renewal, is available.

Courses/ Subjects:
- English Communication
- English Vocabulary
- English Grammar
- Science/ Biology
- plus any other academic courses, e.g., Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Geography, Literature, depends on your specialties

Duties include:
- planning and teaching lessons according to course guidelines.
- interacting with students, and supporting students before/after classes.
- preparing and marking assignment.
- making/marking tests.
- attending school events.
- participating in periodic school meetings.

Working hours:
Weekdays (1 class = 50 mins.) *School hour is from 10:00-16:40
