Summer Part-Time English Teachers for Kids at Nagoya YMCA (expired)

We are looking for part-time English teachers for the Summer Intensive kids English program (July and August).

・Nanzan Family YMCA: Shouwa-ku Nagoya
・Kamisawa Family YMCA: Midori-ku, Nagoya

[Schedule (contract terms, all in 2019.) and Locations]
(1)July 22 - July 26 (5 days at Ikeshita or Nanzan)
(2)July 29 - August 2 (5 days at Ikeshita or Nanzan)
(3)August 5 - August 8 (4 days at Nanzan)
(4)August 19 - August 23 (5 days at Ikeshita or Nanzan)
(5)August 26 August 30 (5 days at Ikeshita or Nanzan or Kamisawa)

9:30-16:00

Kinder 1st grade (Nanzan(1)(3))
Kinder 2nd and 3rd grades (Ikeshita (1)(2)(4)(5) and Nanzan(1)-(4))
Lower Elementary (Ikeshita (1)(2)(4)(5) and Nanzan(1)-(5))
Upper Elementary (Ikeshita (1)(2)(4)(5) and Nanzan(4))
Kinder 2nd grade - Elementary 2nd grade (Kamisawa(5))

[Wage]
15,000 yen to 17,200 yen per day

[Transportation Allowance]
Maximum ￥1,500 for round-trip per day

*Teachers are required to arrive early enough to prepare for the class and stay for extra 10-15 minutes to interact with parents and tidy up the classroom.
*The maximum number of students per class is 12. (Please NOTE that classes may be cancelled if the minimum number of student application is not reached.)

*Responsibilities include the following:
・Develop and conduct engaging, enjoyable, and educational English language class based on our teaching curriculum and additional instruction to help nurture the potential of our students through the language education (Teaching contents may include phonics, grammar, listening, reading, speaking, theme study, crafts, art, and P.E.)
・Ensure the English only policy is followed all the time
・Set up your classroom before your students arrive and tidy up classrooms after class
・Ensure safety of our students during the class, activities, and break time through adequate supervision
・Explain your class contents briefly to the parents after every class with the help from YMCA staff
