  • TEFL/TESOL qualifications are not required but will be preferred.

Description

The Osaka YMCA Language Center is looking for experienced native English language instructors to fill Saturday part-time teaching positions starting in April 2019.

Candidates must …
> currently reside in Japan.
> hold a current valid working visa.
> have a native level of English.
> have at least three years English language teaching experience.
> have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
> be available to work from April 2019 to March 2020.

Duties include …
> planning and teaching lessons according to course guidelines.
> interacting with students, and encouraging interaction between students, in English.
> preparing and marking homework.
> participating in the assessment and recording of students' progress.

Times: Saturdays 09:30-14:50 (225 mins teaching)
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-12 years. Teaching day involves working with one class through five periods of study focused on general English, phonics, and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work.

Class: Adult classes
Times: Saturdays 10:30-12:30 (100 mins teaching)
Description: Part-time native English teacher for adult students

Class: Adult classes
Times: Saturdays 13:30-15:20 (100 mins teaching)
Description: Part-time native English teacher for adult students
