English Teacher (expired)

Part-time children's English teaching opportunities at dynamic, growing English school based in Osaka.

Starting from April .
We are seeking teachers for 2-4 hours daily on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. There is a possibility of further hours if additional classes are opened. Locations are Mitejima / Kashima (JR Tozai line). Applicants do not need availability for all days as we are
not seeking one teacher to cover all days.

An hourly rate of 3,000yen will be paid. Classes will be 4 times per month, therefore these
part-time positions will generally pay 24 - 48,000yen per lesson day per month - i.e. 2- 4 hours x 3,000yen x 4 weeks. Transportation costs will be paid.

All lessons are 50 min group classes starting as below
Tuesday 15:00 – 17:00
Wednesday evenings
Thursday evenings

Classes are age group based ranging from 4-14 years old.
Class sizes vary from 3 - 10 children.

The teacher will be expected to carry out the following tasks;
- lesson planning (curriculum & main text will be provided)
- preparation of any supplementary activities
- deliver an enjoyable and rewarding learning experience for the children

We are looking for native speaker teachers with previous English teaching experience of at least 2 years with children.
