Native English Teacher for International School-Osaka
Cherish International School is looking for cheerful individuals to teach English to children.
Applicants must responsible, professional and enjoy teaching!
●Location : Hirano, Osaka ( Tanimachi - line)
●Requirements
・Native English Speaker
・Currently reside in Osaka (ideally in/near Tennoji ward)
・Valid working visa
・Experience teaching English to children in Japan
・Make programs lesson plans and lead classes.
・Ability to teach phonics
・Must be responsible, professional and enjoy teaching children
・Must be able to work for at least one year
●Position : After Class/ Saturday Class Teacher
●Work time:
Weekday:3:00pm - 6:30 or 7:40pm (Depends on the class)
Saturday:9:50am-2:30pm
●Salary : ¥2,200~2,500yen per/hour
*Travel expenses are paid up to a maximum of 15,000 yen per month is provided in addition to the salary.
●Job description
The main responsibility of the teacher is to help students to understand, speak, write, and read English. Your duties will range from the preparation of course work, planning of classes and the grading. On top of this you will also have to arrange any extracurricular activities and set targets for your students.
・Group lessons you will teach English with 1 assistant Japanese staff.
1) Ranges from Kindergarten to junior high School kids / Max 12 kids per class.
2) Saturday Class : Kindergarten/ Max 15 kids per class.
3) Preparing classroom and class materials, homework assignments.
4) Classroom management and organisation.
5) Developing English lesson plans in line with school Curriculum.
6) Creating a vibrant teaching atmosphere.
7) Attend regular staff meetings.
8) Help with Special School Events (School Trip, Halloween Party, Summer School, Christmas Party etc.)
