English After School Teacher(Part time) (expired)

SEA (STEAM English Academy) in Kyoto is currently looking for enthusiastic and creative teachers to work part time in our new program.

■ What Is SEA ■

SEA offers and expand opportunities to foster creativity in English which consist of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. This program nurtures design and creative thinking, uses project-based learning, and utilizes teaching materials centered on the arts. In addition to classroom learning, fundamental and application skills are also learned through online AR, VR, and AI technology.

■ What We Offer ■

• Hourly salary per one lesson of ￥2000
• Transportation costs fully reimbursed
• Hourly salary per office work of ￥1,000 including the training course
• Salary increases during later working times
• Possible salary raise based off employee’s performance

■ A Teachers Typical Day ■

• Prepare English lessons based on the company’s curriculum
• Check homework, quizzes, and test
• Input grades
• Teach multiple 45 minutes’ English lessons
• Report on the students’ progress

■ Requirements ■

• Must love working with kids
• Native-level English fluency
• Energetic and enthusiastic
• An understanding of cultural differences
• Valid working visa
• Supervise and maintain the safety & wellbeing of students
• Available for an in-person interview
• 3 days’ training course (mandatory)

■ Work Schedule ■

• Weekdays: 2:30pm – 8:00pm (depend on class schedule)
• Saturdays: 9:30am – 6:00pm (depend on class schedule)

■ Preferred ■

• Available 5 days a week or 2 days a week
• Previous teaching experience in Japan
