Assistant Teacher - After school program for kids - Kanagawa - Evenings: 5pm~ (expired)

Looking for a friendly, patient, active, native English teacher to assist with after school program for kids.

We love being outdoors, so from time to time we have field trips, BBQ's or walk to the beach!!
Great side job for extra income!! (University students, ALT's, etc.)

This is an evening only, part time job.
Teacher from 5pm-7pm (sometimes until 8 or 9pm) to help with the English portion of the program.

2-3 hours per day at 2-3 days per week with the possibility of additional days if other teachers request days off/fall ill. (Position is preferably on Wednesdays & Thursdays but we are flexible).

No Japanese or teaching experience necessary. However, ideal candidate would have experience teaching children or a very positive attitude, and (some other) weekday evenings free, in the case one of our current teachers fall ill or requests a day off and needs a substitute.
Training will be provided.

Current age group for children is 5-12 years old.
Classes range from 1-8 students
Classes are 20 minute intervals (5 minute break between classes for student class rotation)

*Working time: 5:00pm-7:00pm
(additional: sometimes teaching Jr. High students from 7pm-8 or 9pm after the 5pm-7pm shift)
*Duties: Teaching English to small groups of children
-phonics, reading, writing, checking grammar, running games/activities, singing, dancing, making crafts, assisting with field trips/outings
All materials and lesson plans will be provided. Your own ideas are welcome as well!!
*Reasonable amount of fitness may be required for some activities/games/dances/etc.
*Compensation: 2000yen/hr
*Transportation costs will be covered as well.
*This is a part time position, therefore, we are unable to sponsor any visas
*Must have a working visa
*School is located between Chigasaki and Tsujido
*Preferred candidate would live within 30-45 minutes of the school (by train/bus)
