Requirements

  • English: Native level
  • Must currently reside in Japan
  • Must currently reside within easy commuting distance of Osaka City.
  • Must be available to work from April 2021 to March 2022.
  • Must currently hold a valid visa for working in Japan.
  • Must hold a bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Must have at least three years' kindergarten teaching experience.

Description

The Osaka YMCA Language Center is looking for part-time native teachers to join our weekday after-school/Saturday English language program for kindergarten children for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Your duties will include planning and teaching lessons in line with program materials and guidelines, keeping thorough records of lesson content, attendance and progress, and preparing for and participating in schoolwide events.

Candidates must be professional-minded, reliable and organised. They should be comfortable working with and caring for young children, and must be committed to delivering fun and educational experiences in the classroom. Candidates with teaching qualifications or training are preferred.
