Description

COSMO KIDS is looking for an experienced teacher to work mainly in our Afterschool Program for children ages 4-12. Since our opening in April 2017, we have grown rapidly and successfully and are now seeking for a new teacher to join our team to grow even more! We provide quality education for the children in a home-like, stimulating, and safe environment. We support the children to be physically and mentally well-balanced and global-minded by learning about the world and different values. A great team-player of any nationality is welcome to apply. 【LOCATION】 Tokyo, Bunkyo-ku.  3 minutes walk from Edogawabashi station (Yurakucho Line)

【POSITION】 Part-time English teacher for the afterschool children at COSMO KIDS International Preschool/Afterschool English Club

【EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS & BENEFITS】
-Hourly Wage: 1500(during training period)~1800JPY *negotiable
-Working Days and Hours: Mon-Fri.13:00-18:00, Work on Saturday 4 times a year for school events. (Additional allowance will be paid) *school events in 2020 are canceled.
-Regular Days Off: Saturdays, Sundays, National holidays, and school holidays. 
-Transportation Expenses: Up to 30,000 yen
-Employment Insurance (Koyo hoken)
 
【REQUIREMENTS】
-English level: Native (or equivalent)
-Currently reside in Japan with a proper visa.
-TESOL Certificate, degree, and experience working with young children is preferred.
-Great Team-player
 
【DUTIES】  Teachers’ duties include but not limited to:
*Supporting the children to improve the four foundational skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) in language learning.
*Supervising and giving the required care and attention to the children.
*Develop afterschool curriculum with co-teachers based on the monthly topics.
*Preparation of room for the day’s activities and lesson materials.
*Showing initiatives in helping other teachers when needed.
*Building strong relationship and bonds among children, parents, and co-teachers.
*Attending seminars, workshops, First Aid/CPR courses, and sharing information with the team.
