Description

Yamaha English Academy (YEA) aims to provide students with the maximum possible exposure to the English language using modern and exciting teaching methods. YEA program has been developed in conjunction with and is supervised by the British Council, the United Kingdom's international organization for cultural relations and educational opportunities.

We are currently seeking the passionate teacher who will be able to work on both Saturday and Sunday (or at least either), plus 2 or 3 weekday evenings a week. You will be delivering lessons in a face-to-face setting in our schools in Tokyo metropolitan area. The work will start on 1st April, 2020.

【Job Description】
-Deliver group lessons using our original teaching materials (provided) and seasonal events
-Regularly assessment
-General office work (lesson prep, writing lesson reports etc.) once a week in Takanawa office

【Salary/Contract】
 JPY 3,000,000/year  (JPY 250,000/month)  
-transportation fee would be fully covered
-Subcontract: GYOMU-ITAKU (Possibility of contract employment: Keiyaku-shain)

【School location】
 Ikebukuro, Kichijoji, Iidabashi
- One teacher will work in all above locations i.e. Wed: Iidabashi, Thu: Kichijoji, Fri: Ikebukuro, Sat: Kichijoji, Sun: Ikebukuro etc.

【Working shifts】
fixed schedule of 2 or 3 weekday evenings (16:00~) and 2 weekend days (10:00-17:00)
-working hours per week is around 25 (including office work), which is less scheduled hours than other English schools
-above shift might be changeable depending on business demands

【Requirements】
-At least 1-year teaching experience (should have experience teaching kids)
-Likes to work with kids and always striving to improve
-Eligible to work legally in Japan ※We can offer VISA sponsorship for renew
-Available to attend a paid training session (accommodate the schedule accordingly)
-Must be comfortable using computer and can type quickly
-Punctual, organized and responsible
