Description

These openings are for part-time positions as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) in Takaishi City in Osaka prefecture.

Global Learning Advancement Department (GLAD) is seeking passionate educators to be placed as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) in pre-schools, elementary, junior high and senior high schools across Japan. Successful candidates will be flexible, enthusiastic and passionate about English education.

The placement will be in Elementary schools and/or Junior High Schools across Takaishi City, where the ALT will assist as a team teacher and help plan English lessons under a schedule created by GLAD and the Board of Education.

Contract dates:
May 2018- February 2019
Training: May 17

Conditions:
・Part-time Position
・Daily 11,000 - 12,500 per day + Transportation Costs
・Monday to Friday. Between 8:30 am to 16:15 pm.
・Days off include weekends, National Holidays, and other holidays set on the Board of Education's school calendar.

Minimum 4 days a week

Position Requirements:
・Must be a native speaker of English, or have acquired an education in English for at least 12 years.
・Must have completed a University Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in English countries.
・Must be currently residing in Osaka or planning to live in Osaka at your own expense
・Must have conversational Japanese skill to plan
・Must have at least one year of ALT English teaching experience at Elementary school, Junior High school, High School, or Kindergarten in Japan.
・Must have a valid visa status that allows you to live and work in Japan.
・Transportation costs will be covered at a certain rate per month.
・Days off include weekends, National Holidays, and other holidays set on the Board of Education’s school calendar.
