English Instructor (expired)

BEAT Inc. is currently accepting applications for part-time opportunities for English instructors in Nagoya and the surrounding area.

We are interested in instructors who:
- are positive, energetic, and creative;
- are FLEXIBLE and can teach Monday – Friday (10:00 AM- 8:00 PM), during the day on weekends (Saturday), and can be flexible with morning, afternoon and evening classes;
- are native English speakers (or can demonstrate native-level skills);
- can teach ACADEMIC / UNIVERSITY-LEVEL skills and BUSINESS English in both group and private lesson settings;
- have previous experience teaching adults and children;
- are willing to travel to different locations for lessons;
- are ONLY in the Aichi prefecture area (Gifu / Mie will be considered);
- have a valid working visa from the Japanese government (with a minimum of six (6) months validity).

*Candidates who are willing to commit to multi-month contacts/lessons will be given more consideration.

Some of the classes we offer are university-related, including conversation and TOEFL / TOEIC / IELTS preparation. We also offer business-related and corporate lessons, so ideal candidates will be professional, business-minded, and have real-world understanding of English and how to use it properly. Only candidates who can meet these qualifications will be considered.

All transportation is paid by the school. We provide training depending on the type of available lessons / classes, but also value instructors' previous experience. Compensation for dispatch lessons is JPY 3,000 – 4,000 / hour, depending on instructor’s level of experience. Compensation for classes held at our main office will be JPY 2,000 – 3,000 / hour, depending on experience.
