Tokyo International School Afterschool is accepting applications for a vacancy at our Kachidoki campus. This is a part-time Saturday position.

IDEAL CANDIDATE: We are looking for a confident, dedicated, and energetic teacher. The candidates must have a university degree and two years experience working with children, and be passionate, energetic and hard working.

POSITION DETAILS: The position is a Saturday School position. There is one class that we are looking to fill, from 10 am to 1 pm. Our Saturday program is open for children aged between 4 and 10 years of age with classes divided by age.

LOCATION: Kachidoki campus near Kachidoki station on the Oedo line station.

START DATE: April 7th.

COMPENSATION: 10,000 yen per 3-hour class. Transportation is fully reimbursed.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS: resumes will be screened to check that minimum requirements are met. Candidates will be contacted to arrange face-to-face interviews for teachers who are able to come to our Meguro HQ or Skype web-interviews for those who can’t. Candidates will be asked to bring with them their residence cards, passports, copies of qualifications and letters of reference. Following the first round of interviews candidates will be short-listed for a trial lesson at the Kachidoki campus. Following the trial lessons, a final decision will be made and the successful candidate will start as soon as they are able to.
