Wanted: Part-Time English Language Teaching Position for 2017 regular programs

Nagoya YMCA Locations: 
Ikeshita (Haruoka): Haruoka 1-2-7 Chikusa-ku Nagoya                   
Nanzan Family YMCA: 14 Minamiyama-cho, Shouwa-ku Nagoya
Kamisawa Family YMCA: 2-831 Kamisawa, Midori-ku, Nagoya

Student: G1 - G6, Kindergarten: 4 - 6 year old

Contract Term: April 2017-March 2018 (1 year)
*Regular programs do not run during summer, winter, spring breaks (YMCA runs intensive programs during summer, winter, spring breaks). YMCA will inform you detailed academic schedule through interview with you.

Work Hours & Salary:
・Ikeshita:
Wednesday or Thursday / 16:00~18:00 or 16:30~18:30 / ¥7,700 + transportation allowance
・Nanzan:
Thursday / 14:30~16:00 / ¥5,600 + transportation allowance
Thursday / 16:30~18:30 / ¥7,700 + transportation allowance
・Kamisawa:
Saturday / 9:30~16:00 / ¥17,200 + transportation allowance
*Teachers are required to arrive early enough to prepare for the class and stay for extra 10-15 minutes to interact with parents and tidy up the class room.
*Remuneration is paid on the 25th day of each month after being calculated in the period between the 11th day of the previous month and the 10th day of the current month.

Responsibilities include the followings:
・Conduct engaging, enjoyable, and educational English language class based on our teaching curriculum and additional instruction to help nurture the potential of every student through the language education (Teaching contents may include phonics, grammar, listening, reading, speaking, and pronunciation, and elementary theme study, social studies, science, math, crafts, art, geography, and P.E.)
・Ensure the English only policy is followed all the time
・Read and understand our teaching curriculum and additional instruction prior to each class. Come prepared and know what you are teaching for the day
・Prepare class materials for crafts and other subjects you require based on our curriculum and additional instruction prior to the class. If you purchase such materials, the cost will be refunded based on the receipt presented (our budget limit applies)
・Set up classrooms before students arrive and tidy up classrooms after every class
・Ensure safety of our students during the class, activities, and break time through adequate supervision
・Fill and submit your teaching report and attendance sheets to YMCA staff after every class
・Explain your class contents briefly to the parents after every class with the help from YMCA staff
・Contribute ideas for seasonal events (Halloween, Christmas, etc.) and help organize the events
・Attend teacher's orientation
・Complete other related tasks that may be assigned by the chief teacher or YMCA staff
