English Teacher（到期)

INCL English school is recruiting a full time native English teacher starting from July or August 2018. Our students are mainly children of ages 4 to 12 and adults, but we cover all age groups.

INCL is located in south central Japan in a city called Hamamatsu in Shizuoka Prefecture. Shizuoka is famous for Mt.Fuji, natural hot springs and green tea. Hamamatsu-city is a very affordable part of Japan, with the cost of living much lower than in larger cities. It has a small town, easy-going, hospitable vibe, with all of the convenience and excitement of a big city. Maybe it's just us, but you can't find a more concentrated area of adorable children, fun teens, and enthusiastic adult students anywhere else!

We also welcome international couples (where one spouse is Japanese and one spouse is a native English speaker) to work with us. We need bilingual teachers who can speak Japanese and English as well, so you could both join!

Starting: July or August 2018 (first 2 months are training period with reduced work and pay)

Contract: one year

Salary: ・3,000,000 yen / year (250,000 yen / month)
　　　　・Bonus at the completion of 1 year (about 100,000 yen)
・Health insurance (company covers half the cost)
・National pension
・Annual raise

Don't skip over this part: Most companies only offer a flat salary, and some benefits. But with INCL, we don't stop there. Qualified drivers also recieve an INCL company car! Not only does this add to your convenience for work, but you can also use visit friends you've made here in Hamamatsu, spend a day at beautiful beaches, you name it! Not only that, but INCL covers your insurance, maintenance, and even reimburses you for all the gas you used for work. That adds tremendous value to an already competative monthly salary.

Working hours: Average workday is 8 hours with about 30 lessons per week

Educational level : Bachelor’s degree

Visa status :　 It’s an advantage if you already have a work visa for Japan but we can also provide your visa sponsorship for those coming from overseas.

Qualifications: 　We have several locations throughout the city, so a valid driver’s license from your home country is essential. ( while of course already having a Japanese license is preferable, we can work with you to attain one by testing for one)
The most important qualification is a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Though teaching experience is an asset, we provide you full training in our teaching method. We can train you in teaching techniques but we can’t train you to be cheerful, warm and patient with students! Our students are mainly children(ages 2 – 12), though we also have some junior-high and adult students. We strive to have a family atmosphere in our school and make our lesson fun and educational, so we are looking for someone who loves kids.

English level: Native

Japanese level: Basic conversation level is preferred , but beginners are also welcome. A desire to learn is what's important!

Holidays: About 115 days off a year according to INCL’s calendar including 2 weeks off for winter break. one week off in May Golden week, and about 10 days off in August.

Job Description: 　Conducting English classes, collaborating on the development of teaching materials, helping to plan and participate in school events and activities (like Halloween and Christmas parties and trips to Disneyland)
