Comvex is a Japanese sales company applying its expert knowledge in the development of an innovative digital sales acceleration ecosystem, Digima.


# Job Description

Working alongside others as a key member of a friendly growing international team of passionate developers and designers, you will be tasked with improving and maintaining the implementations of the company’s existing websites as well as being in charge of the implementation of new ones.
You will work closely with the UI/UX designer and the marketing team to ensure visitors a comprehensive and smooth experience that benefits the business.



# Required Skills & Qualifications

The candidate must reside in Japan and be eligible to work
Two or more valuable years of experience developing front-end websites using HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript.
Strong knowledge of the WordPress framework.
Editing and implementing Wordpress themes.
WordPress plugin integration and development.
Strong grasp of media queries and responsive design.
Website performance optimization.
Ability to work with designers and follow a set design language.
Attention to details. Understanding of modern SEO implementations.
Familiarity with Git and deployment procedures adapted to WordPress.

# Additional Ideal Skills

Experience in agile development environments.
Curious about AB testing.
Knowledge of Google Analytics.
Visit metrics interpretation.
Familiarity with Sketch and the Adobe suite products for extracting assets.

# Language Skills

English: Business level
Japanese: Intermediate level

# Contract & Benefits

Full-time contract position
Optimized working hours: 10h00~18h00 or 9h00~17h00 (including 1h recess for lunch)
