● 10-day paid training period to start in late July or early August
● Full-time position, 40 hours per week
● Join our new school building with growing team of teachers dedicated to improving children's fluency through English immersion
● Primary focus on younger learners, preschool to elementary aged children. Main programs are after school day care immersion classes, kindergarten group classes, and elementary school group classes (2-10 students per group)
● Teachers are supported in all classes with a Japanese assistant
● International school experience a big plus
● Teacher will be part of a team focused on growing our immersion programs, various opportunities available to use creativity and skills
● Female teacher preferred, however all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply
● Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday schedule, 8-hour (consecutive) shift per day, morning to late afternoon/early evening
● ¥250,000 to ¥270,000 per month, to be set based on qualifications, experience, and performance during training
● Annual bonus paid upon completion of contract
● Participation in Japanese Employees' Health Insurance and pension for all employees
● Generous paid vacation throughout the year
● School is located approximately 3 minutes from Asakadai Station (朝霞台), on the Tobu Tojo Line (東武東上), about 20 minutes to Ikebukuro
● Transportation costs are reimbursed
● Some housing assistance available, in the Asaka/Niiza area
● Must be positive, professional, responsible, friendly, outgoing, flexible, team-work minded, and must interact well with parents and young children
