Preschool Teacher / Language Instructor (expired)

Due to our continued expansion, Oak Tree International Preschool is looking for a professional,
creative, motivated, and outgoing person to join our teaching team as a full-time homeroom
preschool teacher.  

The position is available from April 1st, 2017, with orientation during the last week of March,
or the first week of April.

Oak Tree is a new international school located 5 minutes from Nagoya station. We offer a
variety of courses to our students, including an international preschool program, an
international preschool graduate program, and an after school program. We also offer a
Saturday school, school holiday programs, and English school programs, too.

All our courses are held in a brand new state of the art building, with a generous garden for
outdoor activities and sports. Each classroom comes equipped with a digital smart board,
projector, and new computer. Additionally, our school provides teachers with many materials
to use, including interactive applications and iPads. A fully equipped kitchen/science room,
large auditorium, and music room, offer further options for fun and exciting lessons.


The successful candidate will be an organized, creative, native English speaker who has a
natural ability with young children. Sponsorship is available, however candidates possessing
a valid work visa are preferred.


Responsibilities include ensuring the safety of all students, developing and generating lesson
plans for class, based on our school curriculum.  Joining in class excursions, festivals, and
events. As students are young, help with feeding and toilet time will be required.

The monthly salary starts between 260,000 and 280,000 yen per calendar month,
according to experience and qualification. As we are growing rapidly, career advancement is
possible.


Work days: Monday ~ Friday
Hours of Operation : 08:00 ~ 18:00
Up to 7 weeks paid vacation per year.

During the year, there are a few events which will require teachers to work on a Saturday, or
Sunday. There are days off during the week to make up for this.



Prior teaching experience is preferred, however not mandatory. If you feel you that you
