描述

ALTIA CENTRAL is accepting applications from in-country candidates to join our team of fantastic ALTs for a contract in Toyota, Aichi Prefecture from April, 2020. If you would like to work with one of the most reputable and successful companies in the ALT industry, then please apply now.

We will be conducting 1-on-1 interviews on an ongoing basis in our head office in Nagoya. We frequently travel to other cities such as Tokyo, Shizuoka, Okayama, and Hiroshima for weekend interviews, and our weekend schedule is updated regularly on our Recruiting website.

Toyota is a beautiful place to live and work, with both a metropolitan core and ample greenery to enjoy, and is just an hour away from Nagoya City by car or train. Great access, beautiful scenery as well as a big foreign population make Toyota a great city to live and work in.

This contract would be for a mixed position at both elementary and junior high schools in which we share a long working relationship with, and the ability to drive would be required.

In addition to Toyota, we are also looking for ALTs in other areas across Japan in which we currently have contracts.

Our ideal applicant is a native English speaker with a bachelor's degree (or higher) who is flexible, culturally sensitive, and motivated to go the extra mile to provide a positive experience for students.

We would also prefer applicants who have previously spent some time studying or working in Japan, and as many ALT positions do require driving, we prefer people who can or would be able to drive in Japan.

ALTs work in public schools assisting Japanese teachers, helping to provide enjoyable and energetic lessons, and interacting with the students both inside and outside the classroom. Working as an ALT is a great opportunity to improve your Japanese language ability through cooperation with Japanese staff, to experience and appreciate cultural differences, and most importantly, to be positively involved with the development and well-being of young children.

ALTIA CENTRAL enjoys an excellent reputation, positive relationships with Boards of Education, and is respected by the English teaching community in Japan. We operate mostly in the Chubu area, especially Aichi, Gifu, Mie, and Shizuoka prefectures, areas further west such as Shiga, Okayama, and Hiroshima, along with a number of contracts in the Kansai area as well.

Our highly experienced native-English speaking supervisors offer a stable, reliable and extremely professional support system. We also provide excellent teacher training, a wide array of top-quality educational resources and a comprehensive benefits package including generously paid vacation periods.

Successful applicants will need to be available for a full 4-day Orientation/Training session in late March before starting in school from April 1st, 2020. If you are interested in applying and have the work ethic and enthusiasm to represent our values while making a real difference in Japan's public schools, please visit our Recruiting website for further details about ALTIA CENTRAL.
