Global Village International Preschool is seeking teachers for positions within our schools, starting March or April 2019.

We are looking for teachers with experience teaching young children. A qualification in early childhood/foundation stage/elementary education is preferred, but relevant experience is also respected.

Our classroom teachers stay with the same class of preschool children Monday-Friday, so that you can build positive relationships that are integral to effective learning.

We don’t just teach English, we provide an early childhood education in English. Our teachers support children's learning and development across a wide range of areas, within our broad curriculum. Our aim is to provide an early years foundation for a lifetime of learning; to nurture confidence, a joy of exploration and experimentation.

Our first school was founded in northern Osaka, in 2001, and we have three well-established schools in the area. We offer an international early childhood education to children (aged between 2 and 6 years of age) and continue to support our graduates with after school programme. We are officially recognised Cambridge English Test preparation centre, specialising in young learners, for Osaka.

We are looking for people who want to grow as a part our school community and provide training, ongoing support and the potential for advancement in order to nurture this.

Requirements:
- Native English speakers
- Experience with small children (preferably in a preschool setting) and/or an early childhood degree.
- Flexibility to work both individually and as part of a large team.
