Osaka English Village (www.englishvillage.co.jp) in Lalaport EXPOCITY in Suita Osaka, is looking for eager and dynamic facilitators to join our team! Our edutainment facility is unique, for we utilize 23 different real-world situation rooms to immerse our students in an all English Environment in addition to our ever-growing Schoolhouse programs.
Job Description
Working with our English speaking Academic Senior Instructor Staff, our edutainers use (and adapt) existing materials and lesson plans in ways to encourage communicative, real-world exchanges with our visitors. If you have experience in customer service, more “traditional” classroom settings like Mommy and Me and or After School English programs, and/or experiences with drama/theatre, physical education, Summer Camps, and education you are strongly encouraged to apply!
Qualifications/Skills
Native level proficiency using spoken and written English
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
EFL teaching experience TEFL certification preferred
Working Conditions
Contract 1-year contract (renewable) with paid pre-service orientation and training.
Transportation Allowance: up to 40,000 yen a month
Working Hours: 8 hours per day (with a 1-hour unpaid break), 5 days per week with 2 consecutive days off per week which may or may not include
Saturday and Sunday.
Salary Range: up to 250,000 yen per month (based on experience and qualifications),
100,000 yen contract completion bonus.
Paid Leave: 25 days of paid leave Please note that OEV does not observe any National Holidays. + 5 sick days.
Social Insurance and National Pension provided.
Japanese Lessons (Beginner Level) may be available .
Part Time contracts of 0-60 hours per month are also available. (2,000 yen per hour.
