Beans Club English is a growing private English conversation and art school with 10 year's experience in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture. Tokorazawa is a main stop on the Seibu Railway line, 20-minutes from Ikebukuro Station, Tokyo by express train.

If you are looking for an overseas experience, getting hands-on experience with a variety of age groups, and are truly interested in a career in education, Beans Club might be the place for you!

We are currently seeking full-time native English speaker to teach at our school. We specialize in English conversation and art/craft classes in English for students of all ages/levels. We also visit local nursery schools and kindergartens.

Dependable, strong work ethic, solid communication skills, willingness to learn new things, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility are all musts. Enthusiasm, musical/artistic inclination, positive energy and a cheerful disposition will help make your time here enjoyable and greatly benefit the students. All skills and interests will be considered, but experience working with children or in education is strongly preferred. In addition to orientation training we offer training and teaching seminar opportunities throughout the year. Positions of responsibility and possibility of promotion (with corresponding pay incentives) are available to diligent teacher who are dedicated to their development as working professionals and educators. We're currently taking applications from native English speakers from around the world, but current residents of Japan are preferred. -Actively communicate and cooperate with a multi-national staff on projects, lessons, and events
-Teach English to both children and adults at out school
-Teach English lessons outside of our school (nursery, kindergarten, elementary schools, seminars, senior centers, etc.)
-Plan lessons and prepare conversation activities for lessons
-Plan and participate in all school events (Christmas, Halloween, Picnic, Summer School, etc.)
-Participate in planning and reviewing curriculum and materials

Contract, Remuneration, Benefits & Holidays:
The successful candidate will be offered a contract through March 2020 with the option to renew for the next academic year and a salary based on teaching experience and overall performance. In addition to the benefits below, staff may receive annual raises according to their contribution to the company and the company's financial performance.

Holidays:
The Company shall provide 10 days of paid holiday time during the winter, 10 days during the summer, and one week each during spring and autumn, which equals approximately one month's salary of holiday time paid to the Employee during the year.

Misc. Benefits:
We also offer additional salary benefits to teachers in the following situations. All amounts are paid as a one-time bonus upon completion of each year at Beans Club.
-Master's degree in TESOL/TEFL holders: 30,000 yen
-TEFL Certificate holders (obtained on-site, inclusive of practicum): 20,000 yen
-TEFL Certificate holders (obtained online, minimum 120 hours): 10,000 yen
-JLPT N2: 20,000 yen
-JLPT N1: 30,000 yen

Beans Club also offers up to 30,000 yen as a bonus upon the successful completion of a teaching certificate program.
