Description

Tokyo International Kindercare is an international preschool and kindergarten serving children ages 18 months – 6 years old in the Tokyo area. TIK provides a comprehensive “whole-child“ curriculum that is aligned to both U.S State standards and best practices in international schools. TIK’s curriculum supports the intellectual, physical, emotional, social, and aesthetic development of young children.

We are now looking for an experienced preschool teacher to work with our Explorer Class (3.5 to 5 years). Candidates must be comfortable teaching all subject areas. We are also seeking a full-time Literacy Specialist. The Literacy Specialist dedicates themselves to constantly assessing our children's literacy needs and works to strengthen areas of weakness in a small group pullout setting. Qualified candidates should send their CV and cover letter to the school director for review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
• Experience working in a preschool setting
• Must be a Native Speaker of English

• Salary 255,000-300,000 yen per month
