Full-time Children's English Teacher (expired)

Kanda Gaigo Kids’ Club is looking for full-time children's English teachers. If you are able to work well within a team, have a passion for teaching children, and are highly fluent in English, we may have a position for you. As a sister program to both Kanda University of International Studies and the Kanda Institute of Foreign Language, we are looking for highly qualified teachers to join our team as we expand our youth programs.


《QUALIFICATIONS》

・ High energy
・ Native level English
・ Experience working with children
・ Strong interpersonal skills
・ High attention to detail and well organized
・ Must live in Japan (Visa sponsorship may be considered)
・ Able to commit 1-year Full-Time Contract

Preferable, but not required skills are as follows:

・ High level of Japanese, Prior experience teaching elementary aged students in Japan.

《COMPENSATION》

・ 280,000 yen per month
・ 2 days off a week (Saturday is a required work day.)
・ Social security & health insurance
・ Winter, Summer, and National holidays
・ All commuting expenses reimbursed
・ Classrooms located in and around the Kanto area (Tokyo/Chiba/Saitama/Kanagawa).

《JOB RESPONSIBILITY》

・ Classes are 50 to 60 minutes in length with a maximum of 8 students.
・ You may be required to commute to a different classroom in the middle of the day to our 12 schools or contracted kindergarten/nurseries.
・ Most classes will have students aged 3 to 12 separated into school year based groups. For example, a fifth and sixth grade class or a preschool class.
・ You will need to be able to present English in a fun and interesting way, while maintaining a high level of content retention.
