AIC Kids/Teens Teacher for NEW Shiga Branch（到期)

AIC Kids is expanding to more branches, so we're looking for a new teacher!

At AIC Kids we teach English to children in an all-English setting. This immersion helps set us apart from other English conversation classes. Our students take the Eiken test in order to mark their progress, so our curriculum is partially geared toward helping them achieve their desired level, but it is by no means the be-all-end-all of our classes!

Our program is slightly more intensive than other Eikaiwas, and our classes are taught solo, so we are looking for someone who is confident in their classroom control and knowledgeable in pedagogy.



Work days and hours: Tue - Sat
Weekdays 1:30-9:00pm or 2:00-9:30pm (including one hour break)
Saturdays 9:00am-7:00pm (including one hour break)

Location: Seta Ekimae, Otsu City

Contract start date: Mid-June

Contract term: One year (renewable yearly)

Salary: 280,000yen per month

Transportation costs covered: TBC

Insurances : Social, Health, Pension, Unemployment

Details of training will be discussed in the final round of interviews (it may not follow our usual plan due to the effects of COVID-19)

Japanese ability is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
