English teacher for kids, Shiga（到期)

■Position:　Full-Time English Teacher
We are looking for a full time native English teacher who can work from February of 2021!
※ Will also consider a part time teacher.

REQUIREMENTS

-Must be living in Japan
-English level: Native level
-Japanese level: Basic daily conversation level is strongly preferred, and understanding cultural differences.
-Experience in teaching children in Japan (more than a year)
- Must already have a valid Japanese working visa. (Working holiday visas
cannot be accepted.) We can offer working visa renewal, if necessary
- An enthusiastic and positive person with a flexible work ethic who is passionate about teaching children and is also able to work together with the staff to provide high quality lessons and offer customer service.
-Be committed to the position for at least one year, renewable upon favorable performance

MONTHLY SALARY

-Full time：￥230,000（Trial period 1month）
￥250,000（less than 25hours a week）～￥280,000/Month・Depending on skill and experience

-Flexible 4days a week： ￥180,000～￥230,000/Month ・Depending on skill and experience

-Part time job：￥2,000～￥2,500 per lesson
(will depend on type of class and number of students) per hour scheduled

-All work related transportation fee

WORK HOURS

-(Shift work) 12:30pm~21:30(Mon-Fri), 9:00am-8:00pm(Sat)
・Working days:5 days a week, Tuesday-Saturday, with occasional Sunday and Monday
・Working hours may vary according to the lesson schedules and location
-Most classes are held between 2:30pm and 9:30pm, and on Saturdays between
9:30am and 7:00pm.
Working hours are 40 hours a week:
Consisting of approximately 25 hours of lessons and 15 hours of preparation and break.

The School and Details
-Age of students: 2-18 years old, separated according to level and age
-Class size-maximum of 6-8 children (depending on class type)
-We have two schools in Shiga within a distance of a 40 minute train ride　

Job Description(仕事内容)
・Prepare for the lessons (set up the classroom, review lesson plans, clean up materials)
・Deliver 50 to 110 minute lessons
- Teaching daily lessons using the provided curriculum, textbook, and materials.
(Maximum number of students is eight students)
We have a basic curriculum, but are always welcome to new ideas and experience to enhance a better teaching environment and lesson quality.
- Participate in special events
Teachers and staff participate in occasional special events, which are usually held on Sundays, to help promote the school. Sports Day, Halloween/Christmas parties, etc.
Yearly company meetings and occasional staff meetings.
-Be able to prepare for sudden online lessons under certain circumstances.


-Our school consists of two different programs (details will be explained to candidates during the interview)
-Annual assessment and contract renewal are conducted between January and March every year.
