***Background***

AIC Education (formerly Oshu Corporation) is hiring English educators in Hiroshima. To give a little background on our English programs, we have AIC Bilingual Kindergarten, AICJ Jr & Sr High School, AIC Kids/Teens (our premiere Eikaiwa branch), AIC International School: Elementary Education (our international elementary school opening in April 2021), AIC English Soccer Club and AIC Online English.

***Details***

Position title: English teacher

Reports to: Head teacher/Principal

Work days: Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday

Work hours: 9:00~18:00 or 10:00~19:00

Starting salary: minimum 270,000yen/month

Insurance: Social insurance, covering health, pension and employment insurances

***Key tasks & responsibilities***

-Plan and deliver English lessons based on the established curriculum
-Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth running of the school
-Manage the classroom in a fun, educational and safe way

***Ideal candidate***

Preference will be given to candidates with a background/qualification(s) in any of the following:
Early childhood education; Education; P.E. or sports

Our ideal candidate is someone who is not 'fresh off the boat', who has experience teaching in Japan, and is familiar with Japanese culture. Someone who is reliable, punctual and passionate about their work.
On the other hand, we believe in a healthy work-life balance, so someone who is also passionate about their hobbies and life outside of work is also a plus.
