Description

We are looking for a couple to work Full-time (FT) as Native English instructors teaching young children in Sasayama, Hyogo (a small town one hour train ride away from Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe.) The contract will start in January 2020 and is for 12 months. We ask the instructors to arrive two weeks prior to the start date for training and to get settled in.
If you want to get away from the big cities and live together and share a job in the rural countryside of Japan, please come join us. We are a small family run English school that has been in business for over 35 years. We are eagerly looking for instructors who are comfortable with leading creative lesson plans using their own unique skills and talents.
Students range from toddlers to sixty-five year olds. There are private and group classes. Class size is generally small with about four to five students in most classes and ten students in the largest kids group class.

Benefits for FT instructors:
FT/250,000 yen/month
Seven paid week-long vacations in a year.
The flight back to your home country will be paid for by the school upon completion of the contract.

Accommodation: Furnished house: (70,000 yen per month). The house is ten minutes away from the school. This is thre reason why we would like to hire two people who wouldn't mind living together.

A car is leased to the instructor for work and personal use by the school for a monthly fee of 5,000 yen. This includes all maintenance costs and insurance.

Responsibilities of the FT instructor.

5 day work week (up to seven teaching hours in a day)
Attending meetings and special events held by the school.
Being at the school an hour prior to their first class of the day to plan for classes.
Submitting a daily class report.

A four year university degree and an international driver's license or Japanese driver's license is required. For full time teachers, current visa holders are preferred, but visa sponsorship is available to successful candidates. Japanese speaking ability is not required.
