Requirements

  • Must currently reside in Japan
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years English language teaching experience.

  • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher.
  • TEFL/TESOL qualifications are not required but will be preferred.

Description

The Osaka YMCA Language Center is looking for experienced native English language instructors for Saturday School positions starting in August 2019.

Dispatch Elementary Class (S)
Times: Saturdays 8:30-16:30
Compensation: ¥25,375/day plus transportation
Contract length: 21 days from August 31st 2019 to March 2020
Location: 3 minutes from Tezukayama station, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 7-12 years.

Candidates must …
> currently reside in Japan.
> hold a current valid working visa.
> have a native level of English.
> have at least three years English language teaching experience.
> have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
> be available to work from August 31st 2019 to March 2020.

Duties include …
> planning and teaching lessons according to course guidelines.
> interacting with students, and encouraging interaction between students, in English.
> preparing and marking homework.
> participating in the assessment and recording of students' progress.

Successful applicants can expect to be contacted when an interview and demonstration lesson will be arranged.
