We are looking for someone who is independent, self-motivated, has a positive attitude, and loves to be around young children. Daily work is divided between classroom sessions and small group lessons. The school day is conducted in Japanese, but the teacher will communicate with and teach the students using English only.

Candidates who qualify may have a work visa sponsored by Daigokyo.

The ideal candidate has experience teaching, working with children, or a degree in early childhood education. Teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL/TESOL) certification is also desirable. Some level of Japanese language proficiency is beneficial.

A monthly housing allowance may be available, based on company regulations, to eligible employees. We also offer a progressive pay raise system.
