Full-time Native English Teacher at high school in Yokohama（到期)

A private high school in Yokohama city seeks a native English teacher, starting in April 2022, on a one-year contract basis. Mostly solo teaching class with no Japanese English teacher, being in charge of conversation class.

DUTY:
approximately 15-16 lessons per week
daily short meetings with teachers
lesson preparation, and making lesson plan
questions to answers from students out of classes
participation in school events during working hours

TERM:
from April 2022 to March 2023
dispatched from Brain Academy

SALARY:
285,000 yen per month

Working day: from Monday to Friday
Working hour: 8:00 - 17:00 (60 minutes break)
Day off: Saturday, Sunday, and national holidays
*in case of school events on Saturday　if required to participate, overtime allowance paid

Social insurance available: health insurance, pension premium, employment insurance
Commuting allowance is paid separately
*commuting over an hour is not favorable.
*the basic condition is NOT negotiable.

Relocation allowance is not available.
Transportation expenses for an interview will not be reimbursed.
Visa sponsorship is available

REQUIREMENTS:
a current resident in Japan
a holder of bachelor’s degree or more
teaching experience at high school in Japan
being flexible, resilient, and polite
willingness to interact with students

Good command of Japanese would be favorable for communication at school.
