A private jun/sen high school in Osaka seeks a part-time English teacher who can also teach maths and science in English; it would make more than 14 lessons per week. This is a private school following Japanese governmental course guidelines while implementing an English immersion program. A successful candidate will work collaboratively with Japanese co-teachers.
starting date: April 2021 (on a one-year contract basis, could be renewed in the following year)
salary: Salary is determined in accordance with school policy and upon careful consideration of the candidate’s teaching experience, abilities, and academic qualifications

Requirement:
experience in teaching at a Japanese high school
enable to deliver lessons up to 33 students
proficient in the use of computer hardware and software (including MSWord, PowerPoint, etc.)
one can make effective use of technology in the classroom and can mentor students in the effective use of technology to aid learning
Favorable:
experience in teaching science and maths in English at the high school level
understanding the Japanese school system by experience
current resident in Japan
dedicated, hard-working, flexible, resilient, easy-going
