Part-time native English teacher at a private high school in central Tokyo (expired)

A private girl’s jun/sen high school in central Tokyo seeks a part-time English teacher (team teaching) on one-year contract basis starting April 2020. The salary is 180,000 yen per month for 13 lessons and meetings, with commuting allowance paid separately. The classes with a native teacher are for conversation and communication for which he/she is to make original lesson plans and materials. The schedule is negotiable before mid-March.

A teacher who loves to interacting with students, who is willing to support extracurricular activities, and who has majored in education at university would be favorable. The basic communication skill in Japanese is required. The English teacher will be asked to participate in PR events for enrollment.

Upon the first year’s performance, the contract will be extended in the following year and for the longer employment. Brain Academy Inc is in charge of candidate screening on behalf of the school. The school would invite an applicant for an interview in person at least once at school.
