Description

An opportunity exists for a Commercial Sales Representative to join our Commercial Sales Team, based in our office in Tokyo. The Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales plan, providing sales support, conducting product demonstrations and end user training. Identifies new business opportunities in the specified sales areas with focus on developing markets. Coordinates project support through distribution channels to maximize sales. Responsible for the identification and development of the distribution channel to meet new market growth opportunities. Ensures key interface role in cohesiveness of support channel: Sales/Marketing/Engineering/Distributor/End-User.



Responsible for:

Developing and submitting area sales plans.
Achieving sales and marketing objectives to plan levels.
Distributor product knowledge and sales training.
Development of new sports field and golf business
Analyses needs for new products with all aspects on development of new business.
Maintain high level of communication with Product development and Marketing groups on market needs / product innovations / failures
Supervision and training of new territory business development manager as necessary.
Develops and maintains area budget
Competitive intelligence


Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably in the Turf Care maintenance equipment, for use in turf applications.
Degree (BS/BA) from an accredited college or university.
Must be able to adequately identify mechanical and operational aspects of the equipment.
Exceptional and proven sales skills in an equipment environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external partners
Strong organisational, planning, communication and negotiation skills
Excellent PC and ‘Microsoft Office’ literacy
English written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, with minimal day to day instructions or as part of a team
Knowledge of safe working practices.
Must be willing to travel 50%.
