English Teacher at International Preschool/Kindergarten (expired)

We are a bilingual kindergarten which enrolls 2 year-olds to 6 year-olds, located in Shinjuku near Shinanomachi station and Yotsuya station.

Our education program aims to help children grow both physically and emotionally.
This program includes rhythmics, gymnastics, hip hop dance, and the Montessori method in Japanese, in addition to language arts, computer science(programming) and art in English.
We are looking for members who have a great passion for education, enjoy teaching, have professionalism, and can follow the school’s philosophy and policy.
We are planning to open a new program which includes English language arts and computer science, so those who are willing to establish new class are welcomed!

【Responsibilities】
・Teaching (2 classes up to 20 students each, average class size is about 10 students)
・Course material preparation
・Event planning
・Childcare
・Riding the school bus

​【Preferred Experience】
・Experience teaching English in Japanese kindergartens, nursery schools or similar institutions.
・Experience teaching English conversation classes for young children.

【Preferred Qualifications】
・Certification in Kindergarten education is welcomed.
・English pedagogy related certifications​ is welcomed.

【Age】
2 years old to 6 years old (Kindergarten Age)

【Conditions of employment】
Full-time staff or Contract staff *There will be a probation period.

【Work time】
8 hours between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.（60 minutes break）

【Weekends / Holidays】
There are no classes on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and other holidays except certain events that require working on weekends or holidays.
The school allocates some vacation days according to our school calendar (E.g. Golden week holiday, summer holiday and New Year). ​Paid holiday is provided.
