English teacher for children (expired)

We are a small but growing school located just west of Kyoto City. Our school boasts a warm, welcoming atmosphere and enthusiastic students and staff. We are currently looking for a bright, warm person to teach mostly elementary school age children. We provide full training in our well-developed program as well as any support needed in teaching. Classes are small (max. 8 students) and generally from mid-afternoon to early evening; the number of hours/days per week is flexible.

Duties include teaching, class preparation, and assisting with extra-curricular activities. Children's classes are 40 to 50 minutes long with a short break in between. All materials are provided and both teachers a students are fully supported. Applicants must have native level English, a warm personality and a desire to work with children.

Apple Tree English School is located in Nagaokakyo City, a few minutes west of Kyoto City and within easy access to Osaka. We provide commutation expense within a limited area. Teachers enjoy several paid holidays a year including Spring Break, Golden Week, Summer vacation and Winter vacation. Visa assistance is available.
