DESCRIPTION
Veritas English School is an international school whose headquarters is located in Kagoshima prefecture, Kagoshima City. The Chairman of the Board of Veritas is Ryoichi Nagata. Dr. Nagata is the CEO of Shin Nippon Biomedical Laboratories, Ltd.( Listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange ). Dr. Nagata's vision for the students of Veritas is to give them a chance of having a truly international education and creating a global mindset contributing not only to themselves but society as well. Our foundation consists of an international kindergarten, English schools and a Corporate educational program.
We are looking for a Native English Teacher to join our English conversation schools. The teacher will be employed and have a contract with Veritas English School. Management and supervision of the Veritas teacher will be conducted from our Toso office by the Senior Manager, Luca Ceci & the Supervisor, Satomi Hollingum.

Teaching position
Will begin with a one-year contract and an extension will be offered based on performance.
Interviews for this position will be conducted at Veritas English School in Toso, Kagoshima.

Teaching duties
The students range from kindergarten to adult. Most classes will be weekly courses where the
teacher is required to prepare the lesson plan/materials. The Veritas Skype lessons are for our client company PPD-SNBL (a global pharmaceutical company), where materials will be provided, and weekly/monthly reports are required to be filled out by the teacher.

On occasion we request the teacher to participate in fun weekend events to keep students numbers high, and recruit potential students for our Murasakibaru & Toso schools.

Start Date
Ideally March/April 2021

Work Hours
5 days/week Monday-Friday / Tuesday-Saturday. Varies from day to day with 8
working hours plus a 1 hour lunch break

Standard Japanese calendar holidays
After 6 months of working for Veritas you will receive 10 days of paid vacation.
