Description

We are currently seeking a person who will help us fulfill this promise, with job openings for two Kindergarten Teachers whose duties include:

. Teaching Children aged 1 to 12 years old at our Nursery, Kindergarten and Afterschool programs.
. Monitoring the students' safety and well being.
. Actively communicating and interacting with children when in the classroom.
. Creating Materials and Lesson plans, as well as performing other office duties at the school.
. Assisting children during arrival and dismissal, and chaperoning afterschool children in the school bus when necessary.
. Assisting children with their basic needs (eating, toileting, etc.)

The ideal candidate for the position is someone that:
. Truly enjoys working with young children and has a passion for being a caretaker.
. Has a bright personality and excellent communication skills which shine both within and outside of the classroom.
. Has at least two years of experience working teaching children at an International Kindergarten setting.
. Is a native English speaker or a ESL speaker with proven excellent language skills (CEFR C2 or equivalent).
. Has some Japanese Language ability
. Is able to play a musical instrument.

Working hours and Location:
. Our Kindergarten is open from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Saturday (Sat. 8AM-5PM).
. Shifts are 9 hours long, one hour being the employee's break time.
. Shifts are regular for the duration of a month; there may be days where you may be asked to come at an irregular shift (such as when another teacher takes a holiday)
. Employees which are asked to work on a Saturday may take a replacement holiday throughout the week.
. Our Kindergarten is located within a 10 minute walk from both Shinagawa and Osaki Stations.

Salary
- ¥260,000 to ¥280,000/month of starting salary (Based on experience and qualifications)
