Description

ECC Corporate Sales Division is currently seeking native English teachers to teach one-to-one lessons at a university near East Tokyo/West Chiba.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Shift Time: 10:00-18:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch)
Pay: 2,500 JPY/hour
Lesson Type: One-to-one lessons (25 min each)
Available Days: Mon-Fri (2 days a week is OK)

Semester Dates:
1st Semester April 12th– July 16th
2nd Semester: Sept 20th -Dec 24th

Criteria:
Teachers should be available for both semesters.
Teachers should be able to teach at least two days/week (max 5 days/week).

ECC has paid core training as well as follow-up training sessions. We also offer regular support and guidance regarding lesson planning and problem solving in the classroom.


REQUIRED SKILLS:

-Professional demeanor and mature approach
-Well-developed organization and communication skills
-Ability to work as part of a team
-Desire for further professional development as an educator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include teaching university students

- Conduct communicative English classes
- Class reporting
- Actively communicate with supervisors on site and at our office


TRAVEL EXPENSES:

Fully reimbursed

STATUS OF RESIDENCE (VISA):

You must have a status that enables you to be employed in Japan. We can help with status renewal when needed.
