Description

Global Village International Preschool is looking for educators for 2020.

We are looking for people who want to grow as a part our school community and as educators. As such, we provide ongoing training and support, a competitive salary, and the potential for advancement, along with other benefits.

This is not a purely English teacher position. Our goal is to provide an early years foundation for a lifetime of learning. Our passion is to nurture confidence, a joy of exploration, and a willingness to 'have a go'.

If you are someone who is looking to develop a career as a teacher, to build on your knowledge and experience, you may be who we are looking for.

Our first school was founded in northern Osaka, in 2001, and we have three well-established schools in the area. We offer an international early childhood education to children (aged between 2 and 6 years of age) and continue to support our graduates with after school programmes. We are an officially recognised Cambridge English Test preparation centre, specialising in young learners.

Positions are available starting from March/April 2020*.

*Eligible candidates seeking immediate work may be offered a full-time substitute position, for the remainder of the current school year, or until a classroom teacher position becomes available.

Requirements and desirable qualities for applicants:
★ Native English speaker (required)
★ Previous teaching experience is required (preferably with young learners).
★ Teaching degree or certificate for Early Years or Primary/Elementary education (preferred)
★ Can plan, develop and implement curriculum for preschool aged children.
★ Flexible, creative and open-minded personality.
★ An ability to work well, both individually and as part of a large team.
★ Good organisational skills and a professional demeanour.
★ Long-term commitment.

We offer:
★ Competitive salary
★ Paid vacation and national holidays
★ Japanese health insurance and pension (optional)
★ Yearly bonus
★ Transportation allowance
★ Visa sponsorship
★ Ongoing training and support
★ Full-time contracts (Monday–Friday)

Candidates that meet the requirements will be invited for an interview.
Please visit our website to learn more about us. We look forward to hearing from you.
