We are seeking an energetic and fun part time or full time English Instructor to join our teaching staff at Kirin Kindergarten and Nursery. Kirin Kindergarten believes in a fun, creative, yet effective and positive approach to teaching different ages of children, and is seeking a talented addition to our teaching team. We believe in teaching through multiple approaches and mediums; music, art, games, technology, and more. This is an exciting opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Fukuoka while experiencing Japanese culture.

About Kirin:
Kirin Kindergarten is a highly reputable International school located in Fukuoka City, Japan, and our students range between the ages of 0-6 years old. Class sizes range from 25-30 students and are accompanied by 1-3 Japanese teachers. Kirin Kindergarten is a well-established school of 40 years and is excited about expanding its English Program.

Qualifications:
At this time, we are only accepting candidates who are NATIVE English speakers.
A completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required at or before the time of application. Previous experience working with young children or previous teaching experience is highly preferred, along with previous exposure to Asian culture. Teachers must be physically capable and easily mobile as classes are fast-paced and active. Although not required, basic Japanese language skills are strongly preferred. Our ideal candidate must love children and must be fun, caring, personable, professional, and creative.

[Full Time] Compensation:
Instructor will be provided a monthly salary of \250,000 and transportation fees are fully covered by the company up to 1,000 yen per day. There is a fully furnished apartment ready for an instructor if preferred, with an additional monthly housing stipend of \27,000. Instructor will have a summer holiday of two weeks, a winter holiday of two weeks, and health insurance. In addition, the Instructor is allowed a total of 10－15 sick days to be used throughout the duration of the contract. In order to accommodate the Japanese school year without interruption, teaching contracts in Sep 27th of 2021 and last through March 31st of 2023. July of 2021 to August 31st of 2021 will be a probation period (trial). We also have a promotion system after the first contract ends. Daily working hours are from 9-6 or 9:30-6:30 including an hour of break time. Our candidate must be able to arrive in Japan by end of July 2021 in order to attend training. Flight reimbursement is not included, but is negotiable after initial contract completion.

We are also looking for part time instructor.
[Part Time] Compensation:
Instructor will be provided 1,500yen per an hour. Transportation fees are fully covered by the company up to 1,000 yen per day. Health insurance will be depend on working time of Contract. In order to accommodate the Japanese school year without interruption, teaching contracts will last through March31 of 2022. Daily working hours are 4hours in the morning or afternoon from 9:30-18:30.

About our Instructor:
Our Instructor must love working with young children, must be creative and flexible as an Instructor, and must be willing to adapt his/her teaching style to suit multiple classes and ages. Instructor must be energetic and must thrive in a fast-paced work culture. Some work in the nursery may be required as well as occasional classroom supervision.
