English Teacher for Kids (expired)

English conversation school ILLINOIS ACADEMY is seeking a dedicated, energetic and experienced native English teacher for children and adults who can start working from January , 2022.

Illinois Academy was established in 1999 in collaboration between School Entity OHIKO Academy and the City of Tainai. Tainai city wished to foster an international educational environment for its Citizens. Since then, many Tainai citizens have gained a more international education and learned of the importance of English as a common language around the world.

Today, there are almost 650 children from 4 years old to 15 years old and adults who are learning English at Illinois Academy. Through English, we strive to provide an educational opportunity for students, so that they can develop an open mind towards different cultures, people and societies.

General requirements
*Be energetic and like kids
*Be driven and motivated to do fun lessons
*Be flexible and tolerant
*Preferably have a TESOL certificate
*Preferably have some basic Japanese knowledge, if not, be interested in learning
*A Valid Driver's license for Japan is required or An international driving permit that can be exchanged for Japanese driver's license.

Duties:
*Teaching with an emphasis on having fun with English. *Grading tests, *Attending staff meetings.*Coordinating, Participating in English events .*Sharing desk work. *Assisting public relations.*Cooperating with coworkers, active team work *3-5 classes per day

Current Working schedule: (May vary)
Weekdays: 13:00 - 21:00
Saturday: 9:45-18:30
117days holidays per year (Most Sunday and Monday off, GW, Summer vacation and New year vacation will be included)
Paid vacation:10 days per year
Health Insurance and unemployment insurance will be provided
School car and gas will be provided to travel to off campus sites.
