Yasuda Elementary School is now recruiting a full-time English native speaker or a Japanese teacher whose English level is equivalent to that of a native speaker. The contract starts on April 1st, 2021.

Job Description

･Work as a full-time teacher, including both team-teaching and solo-teaching
･Subjects include English and International Understanding
･Club activities and Committees
･Reading books to students

Work Location
Yasuda Elementary School
Nakaku, Hiroshima City

Term of contract 　/　Working hours
･First term of the contract : April 1st, 2021 to March 31st, 2022
･Duration of the contract : 1 year.
･There is an opportunity to re-contract for another year with possibilities to be extended for up to 5 years
･Working hours:
Monday - Friday: 8:20 a.m. to 4:40 p.m.
Saturday on the first, third and fifth week of the month: 8:20 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.

Salary
Monthly salary will be decided depending on age and experience.
(Example: A 30 year-old can expect to earn about 379,000 yen before taxes, while somebody age 36 and up will earn around 409,000 before taxes)

Qualifications
Native speaker of English who holds a Bachelor's degree or higher, with ability of speaking/reading Japanese equivalent to JLPT Level 2 (or a Japanese whose English level is equivalent to that of a native speaker), with ideally holding at least one of the following qualifications: ①Teaching Certificate in Japan ②Tokubetsu Menkyo ③3 years or more experience teaching English in Japan.

*We are also looking for full-time teacher who teaches one of the following subjects in English: P.E., music, or art.
The Salary, Conditions, and Requirements are the same as above.
