[IB PYP International School] Full-Time PE Teacher (2-11 years old) (expired)

CosmoBridge Co., Ltd. (incorporating CGK International School) has an opening for a full-time PE teacher at our international preschool and elementary school. We are located in central Yokohama and we are an IB Primary Years Program candidate school.


[PE Teacher Position]

We are looking for a bright, friendly, professionally minded fluent-English speaking instructor.
Applicants must be enthusiastic to teach, be able to cooperate with coworkers, and be always open to new challenges. For this position, you will be responsible for the PE lessons for students aged from two to 11 years old. As we are a growing school, you must be flexible and may be asked to assist in other areas, such as supporting homeroom teachers in their lessons. As our school continues to expand in later years, any experience in teaching middle and high school PE lessons would also be valued.

Training is provided with ongoing training and support throughout the year enabling you to feel confident in your role and to develop your skills as an educator.

Experience is necessary for teaching early years and primary years students, and a university degree is required for visa sponsorship. Teaching qualifications are also a significant plus, but are not essential.

We are looking for a teacher who will give our students new challenges and new experiences, ideally blending traditional PE approaches with the IB curriculum.

Successful applicants will be expected to play an important role in helping to promote, develop, and build our school into a vibrant environment where students thrive.

[Working hours]

-Regular day (tentative): 8:30-17:30 / 9:30-18:30 (shift work)
-All workdays include a one-hour break and preparation time.
-Any overtime work will be paid.
-There will be occasional Saturday or Sunday workdays for events. A replacement day off will be arranged.
