BookSmartは日本のバイリンガルスクールやインターナショナルスクールに教科書やその他の教材を販売し、海外の企業の日本代理店/エージェンシーの役割も担っています。この募集では、主にエージェンシービジネスを担当して頂きます。日本企業への営業活動や海外企業とのコミュニケーションを含みます。特にこの仕事の中心となる分野は海外(ヨーロッパ)から教育現場で使われる機材を輸入している日本企業への営業、また、日本の

大学や企業へのデジタルコンテンツの販売です。

- 実務は以下を含みます:

- 日本企業、日本の大学(国内出張含む)とのセールスミーティング

- 日本の顧客との電話対応や質問対応

- 海外のメーカー/出版社との電話やメールでの連絡

- 業務に関する書類やサンプルの整理・管理

- 営業業務に関わる連絡や文書・書類の翻訳(商品マニュアル、仕様書、契約書など)

- 海外の顧客のアテンド、通訳。

海外の企業からのスタッフと共にセールスミーティングへの参加業界/連盟会/学会のカンファレンスやミーティングへの参加海外出張(日本企業のスタッフ同行の場合、通訳やアテンドも含む)ヨーロッパ、アジア、アメリカなど年間1-2回程度書籍、オンライン教材、家具などの日本の学校への営業新規の営業プロジェクトやビジネス開発のプランニング、管理、実行求めている人材:

責任感があり、自ら積極的に行動できる方。企業の役員や学者、大学の教授の方々と英語でも日本語でも自信を持ってセールスミーティング出来る方。日本のビジネスマナーに理解がある方。

BookSmart provides textbooks and educational materials to international and bilingual schools in
Japan, as well as provides agency services for overseas companies.

This job will be focused more on the agency services, which will include sales to Japanese companies as well as communicating with foreign companies. Specifically, this job will be dealing with educational hardware sales to companies which import materials from Europe, as well as engaging in sales promotion to Japanese schools and universities.

Job functions will include:

- Conduct face to face sales meetings with Japanese companies and universities (including domestic travel).

- Follow up on email and phone with Japanese customers.

- Follow up on email and phone with overseas suppliers/publishers.

- Organizing documents and sample materials in the office.

- Translation of correspondence documents related to the sales activities. Could include product manuals, specification sheets, contracts, etc.

- Translating for and attending to foreign client staff who visit Japan. Attend sales visits with foreign staff.

- Attend trade association meetings and academic conferences on behalf of foreign client companies.

- May include Travel outside of Japan (Europe, America, Asia) sometimes accompanying staff of Japanese companies. Attending and translating during these business trips.

- Sales of books, online subscriptions, furniture, and other materials to schools in Japan.

- Planning, supervising, and carrying out of new sales projects and business development


Requirements:

- Japanese: Native or near native Level (able to conduct business meetings and negotiations in Japanese)

- English: Business Level or higher (TOEIC 860 or higher)

- 2 years of sales experience dealing with Japanese companies/clients


Attributes:

Someone who takes responsibility, follows through, self-starter. Confidence in meetings, both in Japanese and English. Comfortable to meet with company executives and academic administrative level university personnel. Experienced in Japanese business manner.

Comfortable communicating in written and spoken English and Japanese.
