NOVA Holdings Co.Ltd. is looking for an English Instructor to teach English to young learners at a Nursery School (students will be aged 0 to 3 years old). We are seeking an enthusiastic team-player who has a passion for teaching English, enjoys working with young children, and is professional in all aspects of behavior, as well as flexible, cheerful, and energetic.
≪Duties≫
・Be able to instruct English lessons and activities to students from ages 0 to 3 years old.
・Be able to lead classes of 5 – 25 students.
・Work with Japanese staff to manage the classroom.
・Assist NOVA Holdings with lesson planning and curriculum development.
・Build relationships with students, faculty and the surrounding community.
≪Requirements≫
・Native speaker of English
・Bachelor`s degree
・Teaching experience (Nursery School or with babies/toddlers preferred)
・Basic Japanese speaking ability preferred
・Valid residence/visa status **(Tourist, Student or Designated Activities Visas are not accepted)
・Professional attitude, team-player, flexible, cheerful, and energetic
・Punctual and Time diligent.
・Ability to communicate with Japanese staff, students, and company representatives in a
professional manner.
・Currently living in Tokyo or a prefecture adjacent to Setagaya Ward. (Out of area applicants can still apply but must be able to move before the contract start date.)
≪Conditions≫
・ 15 minute walk from Jiyuugaoka Station (Tokyu Toyoko Line or Tokyu Oimachi Line)
・ Salary: 5,000 yen per working day plus transportation cost
・ Working Days: Monday – Friday (5 days per week)
・ Working Time: 8:30am to 9:30am
・ Contact Duration: November 2021 – March 2022
*There is a possibility for a contract extension based off of performance.
